Black Pepper Chicken



Recipe :
(cooking time : 1 hour 15 min)

1/2 kampung chicken
3 tspn salt
3 tspn crashed black pepper
2 tspn mixed herbs
5 or more potatoes
3 tspn sesame oil

- preheat the oven.

- marinade the chicken with salt and then leave it to the baking tray.

- clean up the potatoes and cut them into half (or you can put in the whole potatoes without cutting), then put them into the baking tray.

- sprinkle the black pepper and mixed herbs on top the chicken, and finally put in the sesame oil.
- then cover the baking tray with an aluminium foil and bake for 1 hour in 200'c and then 15min in 150'c. So that the pure chicken stock won't dry up.

**Make sure you cover the aluminium foil in the right surface, otherwise your chicken won't get cooked in time.

I will make this easy to prepare dish during my hectic schedule. This recipe is nice to go along with rice cause I've added in extra salt and the gravy is so flavoruful. You should cut down the salt consume if you are not having it with rice. I also prepared some fresh lettuce for salad. My kids prefer fresh veggie than stir fried ones. So simple and yet healthy, isn't it!? If you don't have an oven, use a steamer instead; cook in high heat but have to be cautionwith the water level. The chicken should be tender and juicy.
