Black Pepper Cheese Stick

Have you ever came across any cookies' recipe that without sugar in it? Well, this is one of those fabulous recipe which I like about.... SUGAR FREE COOKIES! At first, I thought I've missed out the sugar but after checking back the recipe... oh wow, there's actually no sugar in this recipe! I bet this is a great news for those cookies lovers and especially diabetes.

Ingredients :

150gm butter
1 egg, lightly beated
150gm grated cheddar cheese
300gm flour
1/2 tspn baking powder
2/3 tspn crashed black pepper
1/2 tspn salt
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tsbp roasted sesame seeds

Method :

- combine flour, baking powder, black pepper & salt together and mix well.
- rub butter in the dry ingredients with fingertips untill well combined.
- stir in parsley, sesame seeds & cheese, again mix well.

- add in egg to bind the mixture to form a firm dough.
- divide dough into halves and wrap with plastic sheets, then chill for 15 mins.
- roll dough onto a slightly floured baking tray, then cut strips with a roller cutter.

- brush on egg glaze or milk, sprinkle on some sesame seeds & paprika.
- bake at 180'c untill golden brown.

It tastes terrific even without sugar! And really really fragrant as well.
