Chestnut Paste
It's not easy to find this kind of packet chestnut in a small town where I'm staying. And lucky enough I found some at one of the local direct selling company. And the price is quite reasonable as well. I bought 6 packets all together. Just can't help it! hahaha..... Guess, finally it's time for me to make something yummy and luscious. So, stay tune!
Here's what I did.
Ingredients :
300-350gm cooked chestnut, skinned
4 tbsp homemade golden syrup
40ml whipping cream, dairy
50gm butter, softened at room temperature
Method :
(1) mashed chestnuts in a sealed plastic bag.
(2) then transfer mashed chestnuts to food processor and add in syrup, blend untill fine & smooth or till you can hold them together.
(3) now, place them to a big mixing bowl and stir in cream and mix well.
(4) finally, add in butter and blend well or untill you get a smooth paste. (as shown as below pictures)
