Steamed White Sugar Cake

Ingredients :

(A)
1 tbsp tapioca starch
280gm rice flour
300ml water
1/2 tspn salt

- add all ingredients together and mix well.

(B)
220gm sugar
300ml water
1 tspn pandan essence

- add all ingredients together and cook in medium heat untill sugar melted.
(do not boil)

(C)
1 tspn yeast
2 tbsp warm water

- add the yeast into the warm water and leave aside for about 5 mins.


Method :

- add mixture (B) into (A) immediately once the sugar has melted.
- add in ingredient (C) when the (A+B) mixture has cool off.
- leave aside for fermentation about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
- preheat tray and steam the mixture for 20mins in high heat.
- leave to cool completely then cut it.
